With great pride, it is announced that The Journal of Indonesian Civil Law Review (ICLR) Volume 1, Number 2, December 2025 Edition has been officially published, featuring five scholarly articles authored by various contributors in the field of civil law and related legal disciplines. These five articles have undergone a rigorous selection process and a double-blind peer-review evaluation, making them worthy of publication as high-quality academic contributions to both the scholarly community and legal practice in Indonesia.

A total of five scientific articles have been published in the latest edition of the Indonesian Civil Law Review (ICLR) that raise a variety of actual topics in the field of law, ranging from criminal law enforcement to agrarian reform and the dynamics of modern civil law. The five articles were written by a total of eight authors from various academic backgrounds and legal practitioners. The first article discusses law enforcement against gambling crimes in the jurisdiction of the Gorontalo City Police by Ilham Ilham. The second article reviews the perspective of criminal law and its application to cockfighting gambling in Pohuwato Regency, written by Nurulfadillah Nurul. The third article written by Hastia Hastia and Andi Azizah examines the legal aspects of online sale and purchase agreements. Meanwhile, the fourth article by Eril Boli and Muh Nur Hidayat highlights the challenges and direction of agrarian law reform in Indonesia within the framework of legal certainty and social justice. Finally, Irmawaty Nasadi and Suhartin Akadji wrote the fifth article that discusses the dynamics of marriage in the modern era at the intersection between tradition and state law. The presence of these five articles is expected to be able to enrich the treasures of legal science and contribute to the legal discourse that is developing in Indonesia.
