About the Journal

INDONESIAN CIVIL LAW REVIEW (ICLR) is a double-blind peer-reviewed legal journal (e-ISSN 3090-868X / p-ISSN 3109-1466) published twice a year (June and December) by PT Makanja Group Publishing, which publishes research articles and scholarly reviews in the field of civil law. The journal focuses on the multidisciplinary development of civil law, covering general civil law (law of obligations, property law, family law, inheritance law, and civil procedural law), commercial and specialized civil law (business law, corporate law, contract law, consumer protection law, intellectual property law, and capital market law), as well as civil aspects of agrarian, environmental, and natural resource law. In addition, ICLR addresses socio-cultural dimensions of civil law, including customary law from a civil perspective, Islamic law (muamalah), private international law, and interdisciplinary approaches such as sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and comparative civil law. The journal also highlights contemporary issues, including digital contracts, financial technology, personal data protection, and the development of civil law within social, economic, and cultural contexts at both national and global levels..
